Choose a Career

Now that you have learned about various careers in the drama/theatre world, you will choose one to learn more about. The careers in our modules are just a few to choose from. Here is a list of those careers, plus a few more:

set designer
prop designer (prop master)
lighting technician
costume designer
wig, hair, and makeup
audio technician
actor
production manager

Research

This activity will continue into next week's Art Experience. This module will focus on researching the career you chose. Next week, you will put the information you find into a presentation. For now, type your research into a document or keep handwritten notes.

Once you decide on a career, you will research to find the answers to the questions below:

Which career did you choose? Include an explanation of why you chose this career.
Find a job listing for your career. Search options can include, but aren't limited to:
- Google
- Job search engines such as Indeed, LinkedIn, or ZipRecruiter
- Careers.Broadway
According to the job listing, list 3 responsibilities.
What do you see as a benefit for you from this job?
What could be some potential challenges with this job?
Add an image that represents the career you chose.

Note: You will not turn your research in until next week after the Arts Experience.
